Privacy, explained for dealerships.

We collect the information needed to run CarPixAI and provide AI-powered vehicle photo editing. This may include your name, email address, dealership name, account settings, billing status, uploaded vehicle photos, processed images, support messages, and basic usage activity.

We also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and logs related to uploads, image processing, downloads, and account activity.

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the edited images created through CarPixAI. We process and store those images only so we can provide the product, let you download results, troubleshoot issues, and maintain your account history.

Vehicle photos may include visible license plates, dealership signage, location details, or other information captured in the original image. Please only upload images you have the right to use.

We use your information to create and manage your account, process vehicle images, deliver edited photos, provide support, send service updates, prevent abuse, improve product performance, and comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage and improve CarPixAI. We do not use your private account data to personally identify you in public reports or marketing materials without permission.

CarPixAI relies on trusted service providers for hosting, databases, file storage, AI image processing, email delivery, analytics, payments, authentication, and operational monitoring. These providers may process information only as needed to perform services for CarPixAI.

AI image processing may involve third-party tools that remove backgrounds, generate new backgrounds, or transform images. We choose providers based on reliability, security, and product quality, but their services may have their own privacy terms.

If you purchase a paid plan or credits, payment details are handled by our payment processor. CarPixAI does not store full card numbers. We may store billing status, plan, invoice records, transaction identifiers, and payment-related metadata needed to manage your account.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember preferences, understand product usage, and improve the website. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the service may not work correctly without them.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, if required by law, to protect CarPixAI and our users, during a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.

We may share public or customer-approved examples of edited images for marketing, case studies, or support materials only when we have permission or when the material is already public and lawful to use.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account data and uploaded content, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted operational access. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, and loss.

We keep account information while your account is active or as needed for support, billing, legal, security, and operational purposes. Uploaded and processed images may be retained so you can access previous work, unless you delete them or request deletion.

When you use the public Photo Agent, we retain bounded chat text, structured review outcomes, model and usage measurements, and estimated provider cost to operate, diagnose, and improve the tool. Authorized CarPixAI staff may review these records. We automatically replace detected VINs, email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, filenames, and stock numbers; other details may remain, so do not submit names, street addresses, plate numbers, or other sensitive personal data.

Audit records become unavailable 30 days after creation and are physically deleted by the next daily cleanup.

CarPixAI's audit log does not retain uploaded photos, filenames, image URLs, or raw provider responses from those reviews. Attached photos are sent to an AI provider for analysis and may be processed under that provider's privacy and retention controls.

You can ask us to delete your account or specific data. We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can also unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those messages.

CarPixAI is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, laws, or our business change. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and update the date on this page. Continued use of CarPixAI after changes means the updated policy applies.
